For the end of our first semester here at SEASSI, we had a traditional Piyestang Pinoy. This not only meant a hearty go at the national anthem or colorful decorations, oh no, my friends. This meant food and lots of it.
Quite a few of us stayed up the night before toiling away in the kitchen to make platoon-sized entrees. We were all exhausted during the actual piyesta, but I think I'm willing to break a sweat for Pilipinong pagkain any day.
